Managing Director
Neal Samac
As group Managing Director, Neal provides a leading voice in the guidance of Land Design One’s projects, with a particular focus on creating and maintaining the design integrity and quality control of the firm’s assignments.
His portfolio is diverse and comprehensive-- residential communities, golf and resort development, commercial and mixed-use complexes, and civic landscapes located in the Philippines, Singapore, India, China and the Middle East--and it gives him the basis for presenting appropriate and innovative design solutions to both the most straightforward or complex of projects.

Brian Baker
A landscape architect originally from Los Angeles, USA, Brian has spent over 35 years of his practice working internationally, primarily in Asia.
He focuses on the planning and design of parks and other public spaces, residential communities, and institutional landscapes, including healthcare facilities and campuses. Brian has also served as an educator through much of his career, first as a landscape architecture instructor at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles and later serving on the faculties of Keio University, University of Tsukuba, and Tokyo Women’s Art College in Japan.

Kathleen Hazel Lacsina
Kate is an accomplished and versatile landscape architect who brings years of managerial and design experience to Land Design One. Kate is responsible for overseeing operations and project management of both of Land Design One’s studios while, directing the design and implementation of work developed in the Singapore office.
Her expertise extends to environmental design and technologies, including the implementation of Singapore’s ABC Waters Programme, Green Mark assessment, and Skyrise Greenery development.

Maria Lenna Joson-Ong
Lenna serves as a director for Land Design One's business in the Philippines, a result of her 30+ years of practice in the landscape profession leading teams in conceptual planning as well as technical documentation and construction administration of a variety of projects in the Philippines and internationally as well.
In addition to her role as a director at Land Design One, Lenna also operates a construction business on Cebu island and is certified by the Philippine Green Building Council as a BERDE Professional-Buildings.

Rey Villegas
While Rey’s involvement begins from pre-site planning and creative thinking at the outset of a project's initial conceptual design, he also develops schemes and directs the design team through construction documentation, directly overseeing the delivery of projects to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
With 20 years of experience as a lead landscape designer on projects throughout Southeast Asia, India, China, Africa, and the Middle East, Rey is also a registered architect in the Philippines and is an accomplished comic illustrator.

Reuben Ganaden II
With over 25 years experience in the landscape architecture profession, Reuben’s portfolio ranges from landscape design of prime residential communities, hotels and resorts, to mixed-use and commercial development.
He has been in charge of contract administration, construction supervision and coordination and is conversant with the international market owing to his project experience in various Asian countries and the UK.

Jerald Cotaco
Jerald is a multi-skilled professional with
a track record of managing complex functional projects in various environments. He is able to manage stakeholder expectations and takes full responsibility for the delivery of project objectives.
Before joining Land Design One, Jerald
was involved in various multi-disciplinary projects and mixed-use developments in Pampanga, Philippines
by Korean firm Jangwon Real Estate Development Inc. This experience, plus his architectural background, gives him the technical expertise to tackle construction issues on-site.

Eunice Joy Collera
Eunice has been in the practice of landscape architecture for over ten years. Her professional background includes residential, hospitality, institutional and commercial developments. She has worked as a project team leader for projects in India, Malaysia, Vietnam and China.
Eunice is an active member of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA) and is a regular volunteer in the organisation’s community engagement projects, lecturing and facilitating activities for local communities on garden design & sustainable gardening.

Janine Judilla
Janine is a landscape architect with two years of experience designing recreational spaces within residential developments, including HDB projects in Singapore and various sites across the Philippines. Her contributions include concept development and detailed execution, including CAD drawings, planting layouts, and technical documentation.
Guided by a strong interest in sustainability and green design, Janine strives to create landscapes that are practical and enriching—spaces that support the communities' well being and are ecologically sound.

Julie Mae Cosep
Julie Mae Cosep joined Land Design One in 2023 as a professional landscape architect. Inspired by her love for the outdoors, she is passionate about designing spaces that feel alive—places where people can pause, breathe, and reconnect with nature.
She has contributed to projects across the Philippines and Singapore, and as a project point person, Julie collaborates closely with architects, consultants, and suppliers on both residential and mixed-use developments. Her proficiency in digital tools allows her to merge precision with creativity, crafting landscapes that are both functional and sustainable.

Rexam Alvarez
Rexam is a licensed landscape architect and a graduate of the University of San Carlos. His thesis project, “Proposed Redevelopment of the Cordova-Roro Centennial Avenue into Biophilic Streetscape”, developed in collaboration with a fellow student, received the IP Santos Excellence Award in 2022.
He joined the Land Design One team in 2023, contributing to projects across the Philippines and supporting design efforts in Singapore and India. His work reflects a thoughtful balance of creative vision and technical precision across all project stages.

Marie Catherine Mercado
Marie Catherine Mercado is a licensed landscape architect and a graduate of the University of San Carlos, Cebu. Her prior experience in project design development and management laid a strong foundation in conceptualisation, software proficiency, and adaptability—skills she now brings to Land Design One.
Since joining the team, she has contributed to international and local projects through collaborative brainstorming, design refinement, and visual production. Her ability to align with global design standards enables her to make precise, problem-solving decisions that support effective project delivery.

Isabel Allana Bautista
Isabel earned her Diploma in Architecture from Singapore Polytechnic and her BA (Hons) in Product Design from LASALLE College of the Arts (Goldsmiths, UOL) in Singapore. Her diverse background and proficiency in both architecture and product design empower her to tackle design challenges from a distinctive standpoint, seamlessly blending aesthetics with functionality in her creations.
With over three years in event and exhibition design and three years in playscape design, she enjoys creating vibrant spaces that engage and inspire.
