Managing Director
Neal Samac
As group Managing Director, Neal provides a leading voice in the guidance of Land Design One’s projects, with a particular focus on creating and maintaining the design integrity and quality control of the firm’s assignments.
His portfolio is diverse and comprehensive-- residential communities, golf and resort development, commercial and mixed-use complexes, and civic landscapes located in the Philippines, Singapore, India, China and the Middle East--and it gives him the basis for presenting appropriate and innovative design solutions to both the most straightforward or complex of projects.
Director, Singapore
Brian Baker
A landscape architect originally from Los Angeles, USA, Brian has spent over 35 years of his practice working internationally, primarily in Asia.
He focuses on the planning and design of parks and other public spaces, residential communities, and institutional landscapes, including healthcare facilities and campuses.
Brian has also served as an educator through much of his career, first as a landscape architecture instructor at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles and later serving on the faculties of Keio University, University of Tsukuba, and Tokyo Women’s Art College in Japan.
Director, Singapore
Kathleen Hazel Lacsina
Kate is an accomplished and versatile landscape architect who brings years of managerial and design experience to Land Design One. Kate is responsible for overseeing operations and project management of both of Land Design One’s studios while, directing the design and implementation of work developed in the Singapore office.
Her expertise extends to environmental design and technologies, including the implementation of Singapore’s ABC Waters Programme, Green Mark assessment, and Skyrise Greenery development.

Reuben Ganaden II
With over 25 years experience in the landscape architecture profession, Reuben’s portfolio ranges from landscape design of prime residential communities, hotels and resorts, to mixed-use and commercial development.
He has been in charge of contract administration, construction supervision and coordination and is conversant with the international market owing to his project experience in various Asian countries and the UK.

Maria Lenna Joson-Ong
Lenna serves as a director for Land Design One's business in the Philippines, a result of her 20+ years of practice in the landscape profession leading teams in the conceptual planning as well as construction documentation and administration of a variety of projects in the Philippines as well as internationally.
In addition to her role as an advisor to Land Design One, Lenna serves as a Planning Officer for Mandaue City Planning and Development Office and also operates a construction business on Cebu island.
Director, Singapore
Rey Villegas
While Rey’s involvement begins from pre-site planning and creative thinking at the outset of a project's initial conceptual design, he also develops schemes and directs the design team through construction documentation, directly overseeing the delivery of projects to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
With 20 years of experience as a lead landscape designer on projects throughout Southeast Asia, India, China, Africa, and the Middle East, Rey is also a registered architect in the Philippines and is an accomplished comic illustrator.

Jerald Cotaco
Jerald is a multi-skilled professional with
a track record of managing complex functional projects in various environments. He is able to manage stakeholder expectations and takes full responsibility for the delivery of project objectives.
Before joining Land Design One, Jerald
was involved in various multi-disciplinary projects and mixed-use developments in Pampanga, Philippines
by Korean firm Jangwon Real Estate Development Inc. This experience, plus his architectural background, gives him the technical expertise to tackle construction issues on-site.
Associate Landscape Architect
Eunice Joy Collera
Eunice has been in the practice of landscape architecture for over ten years. Her professional background includes residential, hospitality, institutional and commercial developments. She has worked as a project team leader for projects in India, Malaysia, Vietnam and China.
Eunice is an active member of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA) and is a regular volunteer in the organisation’s community engagement projects, lecturing and facilitating activities for local communities on garden design & sustainable gardening.
